Game ends when any player drops below 0 points (tobi ari). Game continues if a player has exactly 0 points

Riichi is not possible if a player has fewer than 1000 points

Head Bump applies (no double-ron or triple ron)

Double wind is 2-fu

Last dealer can end the game by winning a hand whilst in first place

Dealer tenpai does not end the game in South 4

Players may declare Riichi with no remaining draws (but there must be a tile left in the live wall)

Tied scores split the uma

Any riichi sticks left on the table at the end of the game remain on the table and are not claimed by any players

No abortive draws (no 9-tiles 9-types, 4 winds for first discard, game play continues with 4 riichi’s)

Pao applies to the third pon for Big Dragons, the 4th pon for Big Winds and the fourth Kan (open Kan only) for 4 Kans

Ron is not allowed on a closed Kan even for Yakuman

No Nagashi-mangan

No Kazoeyakuman

Combined Yakumans are counted

Timer for discards will be 5 seconds with a 10 second time bank for each hand
