The WRC Rule Set is the best supported English ruleset for riichi mahjong. We periodically review and amend the rules to incorporate feedback and expert opinion. Sylvain Malbec, author and WRC Rules Director, continues to collect input from players and organisers to make sure we are at the front of any community trend or need.
We welcome all questions either from experts or beginners on how our rules should be interpreted. We especially appreciate feedback from referees, the boots on the ground, who discover new issues we had not anticipated.
